Sorry guys.. been busy the last few weeks.. especially with my FYP – natural language processing in Social Robotics. But im finally done and later, i’ll upload a video on it.
Continuing from my other post on training-acoustic-model, i have developed a workflow for my FYP.
basically. its on using a sentiment analysis engine to develop emotions realtime and parsing values to text to speech (TTS) system and a machine servo for head expression through serialization.

Came across quite a number of videos on Motoman. With two humanoid arms, it can be programmable to do a range of items.. Pretty cool. =D

The Guardian Robot can respond to your daily twitters, do sentiment analysis and know if the twitter message is sad or happy. Pretty cool ya.
Its main components are Java as programming language, some servos, PIC and others. The code can be found here. I definitely take a look and explore my own possibilities.
